Have you taken a picture on our Puente Del Amor yet? While fully renovated and expanded, certain iconic elements of Casa Kimberly’s celebrated past remain intact. “Puente Del Amor” or the Bridge of Love was originally designed as a replica of the Bridge of Sighs. Richard Burton arranged for Elizbeth Taylor to stay in Casa Kimberly directly across the street from his own casita and built a bridge (a handy way to avoid the paparazzi) connecting the two. He then gave Casa Kimberly to Taylor for her 32nd birthday in 1964. To this day, the beautiful, famous bridge still connects the two villas that together comprise Casa Kimberly.
